A team for tenacious Chemoxy staff have completed a Tough Mudder event this summer, raising £700 for Cancer Research.
The event was held at Broughton Hall, Skipton at the end of the summer and covered 10 Miles and more than 20 obstacles. The course is known for its epic scenery, set in the middle of the rolling dales of Yorkshire but on the day the team were focussed on surviving the Quagmire and the Black Hole.
The Chemoxy gang quickly saw the value of preparation, adaptability and teamwork when they faced the numerous overwhelming features like Augustus Gloop, The Block Ness Monster and the Kiss of Mud. Luckily, after a few showers and baths there were all as good as new, though a bit scratched and bruised, and ready for work again on Monday.
