The trend of weight problems in children and young people is of particular concern because of evidence suggesting a ‘conveyor belt’ effect in which excess weight in childhood continues into adulthood leading to issues with elevated blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression

In fact, in one hour of squash, an adult player may expend approximately 600 to 1000 calories and in 2003, Forbes rated squash as the number one healthiest sport to play. Chemoxy were therefore delighted to support the Youth Tournament and to draw attention to the free taster sessions available for Juniors and Adults alike.
