Middlesbrough Football Club Trophy Handover

A dusty tarnished trophy has seen the light of day for the first time since 1995, hidden from view on top of a cupboard. The 2ft high trophy had obvious significance, engraved “Middlesbrough Junior Football League” winners listed from 1928 through to1995. Martyn Bainbridge handed it over to Chris Patzelt from the Middlesbrough Football Club on the 23rd of June, for display and keeping for posterity. Chris Patzelt leads in Club memorabilia and was delighted to receive such a unique trophy, as some club members may have had past connections with the clubs mentioned on the trophy!
