The Love to Ride challenge ran nationally from Monday, June 8 to Sunday, June 28 for three weeks, the aim of the challenge was to give local people an incentive to get on their bikes and take part in a ‘friendly competition’ and team work – log one or more bike trips on the challenge website – be they regular, new, or rusty cyclists. Chemoxy International took part in the region and encouraged its staff members to participate by simply hopping on a bike so that they can experience the benefits of riding first hand. The rules where that people can cycle anywhere they like, anytime they like over the three-week period. The organisations that got the most staff riding for just 10 minutes or more will win prizes.
Well Chemoxy staff members WON that challenge! We are happy to announce for the category size and region we got 1ST place with 73% of staff members participating in the event. This has been a great event with many team members participating.
The challenge really motivated the whole company and moral was high through the whole competition, with everyone encouraging one another especially first time riders. For many of the Chemoxy team the challenge helped rekindle their passion for bike riding and helped improve their fitness levels.
